What is Praktika?
Praktika is the series of single layered floor tiles for traditional laying obtained by compressing a mixture of marble, quartz, marble powder and white cement binder without resins or similar substances. Praktika tiles are extremely tough and suitable for use on surfaces subject to heavy traffic. The small thickness, exceptional flatness and size make them ideal for laying with glue in addition to the traditional method with fresh mortar.
What does Praktika look like?
The tiles of the Praktika series, produced in size 60×60 and 60×30 cm nominal, come with various surface finishes: matt, polished or with anti-slip brushed finish. Furthermore it is always possible to grind the floor after laying which is the traditional finishing method and which enhances the beauty and practicality of the this material. The wide range of colours offers the classic traditional combinations plus chromatic combinations suitable for modern design in order to respond to all the needs of design and aesthetics.
Why lay a floor with Praktika?
Praktika tiles are produced by compression into a single layer at very high pressure. This technique gives special properties such as compactness and resistance plus a notable saving in transport and laying costs. The low porosity ensures easy cleaning and maintenance and makes the material suitable for the widest range of uses.
